What training is offered?
The Hacking Project offers training open to all, providing participants with accessible, low-cost courses in one or more fields.
The training is organized in small groups of 5 to 8 people of varying levels who work together intensively for 2.5 months.
We count on each participant to contribute their presence, mutual aid, support, and encouragement to the other members of their group, in a spirit of camaraderie,
in order to help all members of a group complete the training.
Conditions of Participation
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Training Program. The Training Program may evolve from one session to another or during a session.
As a Participant, you agree that we may modify the content and/or program of the training, as well as the choice of tools or materials used for the Training. You agree that these Terms apply to such updates. Please read these Terms carefully and contact us at bonjour@thehackingproject.org if you have any questions.

For ease of reading:
- Dropout: a Participant who does not submit a Project within the deadlines set out in the Schedule.
- Schedule: the Training program and list of Projects to be submitted.
- Terms of Participation: this document.
- Content: any content published or shared by a Participant as part of the Training.
- Training: the training courses offered by The Hacking Project.
- Group: a group of 5 to 8 Participants working together.
- Participant: a natural person who takes the Training.
- Project: creation of Content to be delivered according to the Schedule.
- Third-party service: IT tools used for the Training and not belonging to The Hacking Project or the Participants.
Participation in the Training
Who can participate?
The Training is open to anyone over the age of 15, with no technical prerequisites or professional experience required.
By registering, you agree to participate in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions of Third-Party Services, and applicable law.
You must provide accurate information and update it as necessary. For minors over the age of 15, parental consent is required.
Our Training
Course modifications
Unexpected events may occur. The Hacking Project reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, or postpone a session, or to modify the content or weighting of Projects, assignments, quizzes, or other assessments.
No Academic Credit
No academic credit
Participation in or completion of the Training does not confer any university credit. No educational institution is under any obligation to recognize it.
Exemption from student-university relationship
Nothing in these Terms establishes a relationship with an educational institution, enrolls you in an institution, or authorizes you to use its resources.
License, Content, and Intellectual Property

Our license to you
Subject to these Terms and Conditions, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license
to use the content created by The Hacking Project for the purposes of the Training. Participation does not grant you ownership
or intellectual property rights in the Training or the content.
Intellectual Property and Third-Party Services
You will use Third-Party Services (software, websites, platforms). It is your responsibility to respect their intellectual property rights and terms of use, including the payment of any royalties. The Hacking Project shall not be liable for any violation by a Participant of the intellectual property rights of Third-Party Services.

You may access third-party content. The Hacking Project does not guarantee the absence of offensive material or malware and disclaims any responsibility for your access to or use of such content.

Participant Content
The Training invites you to create Content (Projects, exercises, assignments) and share it, particularly on Github.
Uploaded Content will be deemed to belong to the Participants who contributed to the file in question, subject to the license granted to The Hacking Project
and the terms and conditions of the Third-Party Services used.
How Content may be used
Participants share their Content with The Hacking Project, teachers, and/or other Participants for the purposes of the Training.
By uploading your Content to Github, you subject it to Github's terms and conditions. The Hacking Project may delete or modify
any Content deemed to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Comments
Your suggestions, ideas, and feedback may be used freely by The Hacking Project, without restriction or compensation.
Security
The Hacking Project cannot guarantee that no unauthorized third party will be able to circumvent the security measures of Third-Party Services.
We are not a host and accept no responsibility for any compromise or unauthorized use of your account.
Price
The Hacking Project wishes to offer accessible Training. The price of the Training is that indicated at the time of your registration.
This amount may be retained in the event of Abandonment, characterized by the failure to submit the Project as scheduled in the Calendar. If you complete the Training,
the amounts retained for Abandonment are not due.
Modification and end of the Training
Termination of the training program
We may suspend, modify, or terminate a Training Course, Group, Schedule, or Project.
The Hacking Project may terminate your Participation for any reason. You may terminate your Participation at any time,
but this may penalize your Group.
Withdrawal period
According to Article L.121-16 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of fourteen (14) days from the date of registration to withdraw by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
Possible grace period
Possible discount
In the event of serious medical problems (e.g., sick leave of at least 4 weeks), a refund or grace period may be considered.
This discount is not a right and remains at the discretion of management.
Image rights
The Hacking Project may publish videos and photos of students. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Participation constitutes authorization for the reproduction and representation of images taken during the Training for the promotion of The Hacking Project's activities, subject to respect for dignity.
Disclaimers
The Training and all content included are provided "as is" without express or implied warranty. The Hacking Project and its instructors
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hacking Project disclaims all contractual or tortious liability for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your participation or inability to participate, your access or use of Third-Party Services, or any unauthorized access to your data.
Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Hacking Project from any claims related to your use of the Training in violation of these Terms, any violation of law or third-party rights, or Participant Content.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be settled by the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal.

Revision of the Terms
The Hacking Project may revise these Terms at any time. Revisions shall take effect upon publication.
Continued participation after publication constitutes firm acceptance of the revised Terms.
Third-party services
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and conditions. Your participation constitutes your agreement to comply with these terms and conditions.
Code of Honor
All students participating in the course must agree to abide by the following code of conduct:
- I will register using only one account.
- My answers to Projects, exercises, quizzes, exams, assignments, and other homework will be my own work (unless collaboration is expressly permitted).
- I will not make my solutions available to anyone else, unless the assignment explicitly allows it.
- I will not participate in any activity that allows me to improve my results dishonestly.
